Surrounding the main stage were stalls offering Japanese culinary delights, crafts, and accessories, adding to the festive ambiance.
In the Fan Art category, students expressed their artistic talents, with Madeline Kirana Angitan

The Cosplay competition brought favorite anime characters to life through elaborate costumes and detailed portrayals. Alissa Argyanti and Shalomo Slaat won second place, while Ivana Sendouw and Laurensia Talim took home third, showcasing their dedication to their craft. Their commitment to capturing the essence of their characters earned them high praise.

Reflecting on the experience, Ivana Sendouw, a representative from MIS, shared her excitement about participating: “I was thrilled when the teacher invited me to join the competition, so I started preparing myself and my costume right away. I was assigned to portray a character from Genshin Impact named ‘Hutao.’ As a team, we worked together to create the props and practiced every day until the event.” Their dedication and teamwork were evident, and their detailed artwork and lively performances left a lasting impression.
The participation of MIS students in BUNKASAI provided them with a valuable cultural experience, allowing them to appreciate Japanese traditions and modern pop culture. Their achievements at the festival highlighted their creativity, hard work, and enthusiasm, making their school proud.
