Middle School

Middle School is grade 7 through grade 9. All subjects are taught in English with the exceptions of Bahasa Indonesia, Civics, Mandarin, and German. To complement the academic program, sports, music and arts, extra-curricular, and minor subjects are also offered This comprehensive education is designed to produce dynamic students, capable both in academics and non-academics.

Students are prepared to develop in their physical, mental, spiritual, emotional, and social lives. Furthermore, they are trained to be competitive, ready to participate in any academic and non-academic competition.

Elective Subjects for Middle School

Elective subjects are divided into four types: minors, music and arts, Extra-curricular, and Sports.

The following are the general requirements for minor and Extra-curricular subjects:

  1. Elective subjects will be taught in a three-year sequence
  2. Grade 7 students may choose their subject of preference in their first year.
  3. Students must continue their preferred Elective subject
    from the previous school year.
  4. Transferees may choose their subject of preference (following the sequence of the subject), to be evaluated later by the VP for Academics for class placement.
  5. An elective class will be opened when there are a minimum of 10 students.
