Manado Independent School (MIS) once again made its mark—this time at the prestigious Xpresi Party Manado Post 2025, held at Manado Town Square from May 22–24, 2025. In an atmosphere charged with excitement and applause, ten MIS high school students delivered outstanding performances, showcasing the excellence, confidence, and creativity they’ve developed through dedicated learning and coaching.

Tahun 2025 menjadi saksi ketika para pelajar dari jenjang SD, SMP, hingga SMA MIS melangkah berani ke arena Asia International Mathematical Olympiad (AIMO) bukan sekadar sebagai peserta, tetapi sebagai juara. Mereka berjuang dengan persiapan matang dengan keyakinan bahwa tantangan apa pun bisa ditaklukkan dengan ketekunan. Dan hasilnya? Sebuah pencapaian global yang membanggakan Indonesia, khususnya MIS.

Joy filled the halls of Manado Independent School (MIS) as hundreds of students celebrated a significant milestone. On Wednesday, June 18, 2025, MIS held its 21st Commencement Exercises for the Class of 2025 at the MIS Auditorium, honoring the graduation of Grade XII high school students for the 2024–2025 academic year. The ceremony was a vibrant celebration of gratitude, featuring heartfelt speeches, exceptional student performances, and the presentation of awards, marking a memorable moment for students, parents, and faculty alike.

Two talented Grade 10 students from Manado Independent School (MIS), Kayla Vianney Kandou and Mayrin Lin, have once again brought pride to their school through their outstanding achievements in fine arts, particularly painting. From a total of 1,026 submissions from across Indonesia, only 142 works were selected for exhibition at the Indonesian National Gallery in Jakarta this July, under the theme “Growing Without Fear.”

Hillary Gultom, a Grade 12 student at Manado Independent School (MIS), is making her mark through an internship at ODSK Manado Hospital — a proud milestone both for her and the school. Running from May to October 2025, the internship represents a meaningful first step toward Hillary’s long-held aspiration of building a career in health and medicine.

A clear vision and mission encouraged Ivin Anand Kollabathula, a Grade 12 student at Manado Independent School (MIS), to undergo an internship program during May 2025 at one of the leading hospitals in Indonesia, Siloam Hospital Manado. This experience became a stepping stone in Ivin's journey towards his dream of becoming a doctor, a noble dream that had grown since childhood.

Another proud achievement came from a Manado Independent School (MIS) student. Cristian Emyl Pangkey, an 8th-grade student at MIS Middle School, successfully brought honor to the school and region in the LEMKARI National Championship Piala Ketum PB.LEMKARI held in Surabaya on May 2–4, 2025. In this prestigious championship, Cristian won two silver medals in different categories in the sport of karate.

Manado Independent School (MIS) has once again achieved remarkable success in the field of martial arts, particularly in Taekwondo. Brooklyn Still Saerang, a Grade 11 student, clinched first place and brought home a gold medal in the K-1 Taekwondo Pro Junior Boys U75 kg category at the Open Taekwondo Challenge Series. This provincial-level competition was organized by Taekwondo Jidokwan Indonesia in North Sulawesi and took place from May 2 to 4, 2025.

Manado Independent School (MIS) once again hosted one of its most highly anticipated annual events: the Field Trip, held from May 5–7, 2025. This immersive program is part of MIS’s commitment to contextual learning, aimed at broadening students’ perspectives beyond the classroom.

Manado Independent School (MIS) has once again earned international recognition for excellence in mathematics. At the 2025 World Mathematics Invitational (WMI) held this past March, 15 MIS students brought home prestigious awards, showcasing their mathematical brilliance and proudly representing their school and Indonesia on the global stage.
