Alongside the enthusiastic crowds were proud parents and grandparents eager to witness the young athletes’ journeys to the next level. By 13:00, students, teachers, and fans gathered at the sports complex, filling the air with cheers for their favorite teams.


One of the standout moments of the day came from the MIS Elementary School basketball team, led by Willson Lim, a grade 4 student. Lim showcased incredible teamwork and coordination, helping his team swiftly maneuver past their opponents and secure vital points. Reflecting on his passion for basketball, Lim shared, “My parents have always been supportive. I fell in love with basketball when my dad introduced it to me for the first time, and I’ve been practicing with my coaches and teammates to improve my skills.”

Dominic Wondal, another young athlete, expressed his excitement about the competition, saying, “Winning at the MIS SA CUP 2025 has motivated me even more to pursue my dream. Practice sessions keep me focused and determined.” The players’ coaches, who had guided them with passion and patience, watched proudly from the sidelines as their hard work paid off.
