Manado Independent School (MIS) successfully kicked off the 2024-2025 academic year with a virtual Parent-Teacher Conference (PTC) held via Google Meet on Thursday, August 1, 2024. This annual event is a cornerstone of the school’s commitment to fostering open communication and collaboration between teachers and parents.
The PTC provided a valuable platform for teachers and parents to discuss students’ academic progress, well-being, and future goals. By working together, educators and families can create a supportive learning environment that empowers students to thrive.
During the conference, MIS administrators presented key information about the school, including its vision, mission, curriculum, activities, and rules. Parents were introduced to their children’s teachers and had the opportunity to ask questions during a dedicated Q&A session.
Principal Vijaya K. Kollabathula, Ph.D., expressed gratitude for the parents’ participation, emphasizing the importance of their partnership in students’ success. “I am delighted to connect with our supportive parents and guardians through this online platform,” Dr. Kollabathula said. “Thank you for joining us for our first PTC. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to our administrators with any questions.”
MIS believes that strong partnerships between home and school are essential for student success. The school remains dedicated to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
