The Manado Independent School (MIS) auditorium buzzed with excitement as bright-faced, enthusiastic new Student Association (SA) officers from the Elementary, Middle, and High School divisions prepared for their inauguration ceremony for the 2023-2024 academic year.

The ceremony officially appointed the SA officers, chosen by each deputy principal for student affairs. The officers took their oaths in front of students, principals, and teachers.  There were emotional moments as outgoing officers passed the torch to the new leaders through handshakes and symbolic gestures. Enthusiastic applause from the audience added to the lively atmosphere.

High School: Tristan Kandou (Kairos Party) seeks to build a vibrant and inclusive community where every student’s voice is valued, and both academic and personal growth are encouraged. Their mission emphasizes supporting students and ensuring their ideas are heard.

Tristan Kandou: A Leader with a Mission
