From the foundation of the Manado Independent School (MIS) in 2003 to the present, God has been blessing the school with outstanding achievements in both academic and non-academic fields. Students have been performing extraordinarily at the Regional, Provincial, National, and International levels.
In the month of March, several MIS students won many achievements in non-academic fields. In the recent swimming competition—Tirto Segoro 9 Championship on March 19 2023, Our swimming athletes garnered gold, silver, and bronze medals in various styles and categories.

Meanwhile, more awards won in modeling during the Fashion Week held in Megamall Manado on Sunday, March 19, 2023. Meydeline Janis won the 2nd Runner-Up, Arviyah Illy won the Best Costume and Crowd Favorite, and Audrey Sompotan won the Most Popular award. MIS always encourages and supports all students to develop their talents. Sharon L. Lintuuran, MEIL, the principal of the MIS Middle School, proudly congratulates all winners and wishes them more successes in the future. “We praise God for the amazing talents and skills that He has given to our beloved students who just won the Swimming and Fashion Show competitions.
